"Here we are, fighting and trying to hide the scars."

Throughout my life, I have been shaped and molded by the experiences I have gained, and taken on many different roles that guide me through my day. Nobody's everything, but we're all something, and we all have our part to play. Below are some of the roles I play throughout my day, and throughout my life.

Daughter/Sister.

My family is an extremely important part of my life. Although there's an occasional fight, they know me almost better than anyone and it's nice to be around people whom you're comfortable with. I have a close bond with my sister, Caitlin, which I think is one of the most valuable relationships in my life. Even though she's away at college, we manage to stay close. Being so active all of the time, I'm very grateful for such a supportive family who I know I can turn to if I need them. Everyone in my family, including my grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles are all very, very important to me, and a huge part of my life. I love them all!

After taking a year off from playing basketball and being active, I realized just how important it actually was to me. I missed working hard, achieving physical and mental goals, and being around my teammates. This year I decided to play again, and I'm so glad I did. Pushing myself to become better on the court also helps push me to be a better person overall. It's time consuming, it's tiring, but it's definitely worth it to sacrifice a little free time not only to be in excellent shape, but to have fun and succeed. Basketball has become a major part of my life, and I love every minute of it.

Actress.

Being on stage is probably one of the most exhilirating feelings there ever could be. The lights, the heat, the audience, and your voice ringing in your ears...it's amazing. But really, what are we all? Are we people? Or are we players? In this world we are here to perform: perform well, and you recieve a good review; perform poorly and you are torn apart and only left standing if you have any pride. Whether at a job, in a game, or simply walking into a room, you're putting on a performance. We are all part of the stage, whether we're working behind the scenes in the shadows or on the apron performing, we all play our part. We all have something to contribute. The world is a stage, and I am just one performer.

To the right is a powerpoint presentation I've constructed about myself that I welcome you to look at.
