It all started on May 20th about sixteen years ago. Ever since, I've been working to achieve my goals, turn dreams into reality, and make fantasies come true. My life is nonstop, participating in the theatre company at my high school, the Junior Varsity basketball team, and other activities such as Big Brother/Big Sister. Even though it's busy, I love every minute of making myself a stronger, more driven person through the interests I pursue, and the activities I participate in.
Throughout my life, I have met many influential people who have encouraged me to strive to become the best person I can be, including my family and most of my friends. But no one has affected me more than Bobby Woodruff. Having known him for a little over a year now, he has made such an impact on my life and the person I'm to become. Bobby has helped me through some of the roughest moments of my life, including depression, and has gotten to know me better than I think I even know myself. Without him, I'm not sure where I'd be.
Looking ahead, I want to continue to work hard, set goals, and excel at what I choose to do. With the skills and attributes that I'm gathering through my life, I think that I can only succeed from here on out. Having overcome some very difficult things so far already, I know that I'm strong enough mentally and emotionally to handle anything that life throws at me. I'm excited, curious, and looking forward to what will come next.
